This individually numbered timepiece from Xezo's Limited-Edition collection was inspired by architecture of ancient Acropolis in Greece and contemporary Art Deco influences.The design idea came from observations of the ruins of Erechtheum Temple (on the Acropolis in Greece) finished by 405 B.C.This timepiece mirrors the temple's clical beauty in many crucial ways.Each of the reverse columns on both sides of the case signifies one of the shrine's façades.And the nine rectangular see-troughs--found on the top and bottom of the case--resemble the moldings of the temple's porch supported by ethereal sculpted figures.The hand-crafted, curved tank case is topped with double-curved scratch proof sapphire crystal gl and is water-resistant to 165 ft (5 ATM). The master case is machined from a single block of surgical grade 316L stainless steel and houses the accurate, Swiss-made ETA 2000-1 mechanical, automatic-winding movement--fitted with a stop second device, and shock absorber. The ETA 2000-1 automatic movement has 20 jewels and 40 hours power reserve (when fully wound). It is considered a top grade "mechanical specialty" movement due to its size and intricate extra flat construction.
